Jain Kitchenware

You’ll find Jain Kitchenware over at Shankar Chowk in Rohini Sector 11. We’ve been set up here for a while, and most people in the area know exactly where we are. Our shelves are packed tight with all sorts of things—pots, pans, containers, and everything else you’d need for a kitchen. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes because we try to keep as much stock as possible. We don't have a fancy display or bright lights like the big malls. It’s just a regular shop where we keep the doors open and wait for people to stop by. Sometimes it’s quiet, and we just sit and talk, but other times it gets really busy, especially around the holidays. We don't use a computer for everything; we still like writing things down in our books. It feels more reliable that way. We aren't trying to sell anyone things they don't need. If someone comes in looking for a simple lid, we find them a lid. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to run a decent shop and be honest with our neighbors. The floor is a bit uneven, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but it works for us. If you’re around Rohini, you can just walk in and look around. We’re usually here from morning until late evening, just taking care of things.
