We run Incubus Home Builders from Flat-122 in the Char Dham Apartments over in Rohini Sector 9. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than some other parts of West Delhi, which is nice when we are trying to get the books in order. We started this because we knew the area well and saw people needed decent work done on their homes. We do all sorts of building and construction stuff. It’s a lot of juggling different tasks. One day we are checking on a foundation and the next we are arguing with a hardware seller about the price of pipes. It’s a regular life. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. Most of our meetings happen right at the site or at a small table in the apartment office. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do right by the people who hire us. Construction has its ups and downs. Sometimes things go smooth, and sometimes a machine breaks down and ruins your whole Tuesday. We just keep going. It’s about being there every day and making sure the guys are doing what they are supposed to. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in Delhi, just a reliable one that folks in Rohini can call up. It’s just us, working hard and keeping things simple. Nothing more to it than that, just getting houses built for families.
