Giriraj Ji Colddrinks

Samrat Enclave is a decent part of Pitampura. We’ve been at Plot No. 75-B for a good while. Most people find us by looking for the Kali Mandir, which is a major landmark around here. At Giriraj Ji Colddrinks, things move at a pretty relaxed pace most days. We have several large deep freezers that hum constantly. They take up a lot of the space in the front. We aren't a big corporation; it’s just us handling the daily sales and stocking. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. Kids come in after school for something cold, and we know exactly what they’re going to ask for before they even say it. We keep a stack of old newspapers on the counter to read when it’s slow. The monsoon season is usually when we have more time to talk because people don’t want to come out in the rain. We might fix a shelf or paint a wall during those slow weeks. The air conditioner in the back room is a bit noisy, but we’re used to it. It’s a simple business. We don’t have a website or any fancy marketing. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the evening. It’s a good life in a quiet corner of the city. We appreciate the neighbors who stop by just to say hello.
