Blue Bell Scales Company

You can find us at 61/1 in the Badrappa Complex over in Kamakshipalya. It’s a busy little area and we’ve been here at Blue Bell Scales Company for quite a while now. We sell and look at weighing scales, so the shop is usually full of different sizes of equipment. Some are meant for small grocery shops and others are much bigger for factories. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stock and spare parts laying around for various repairs. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we know where everything is kept. People from around the neighborhood come in when their equipment stops working right or needs a checkup. We spend a lot of time with small screwdrivers and calibration weights. It's precise work but we do it in a very casual way. There’s always some noise from the street outside and the other shops in the complex. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass cases. It's more of a workshop where you can see the work being done right in front of you. Sometimes customers stay and chat for a bit while we fix a small issue with their machine. We like that part of being a local business in the community. We keep our hours pretty standard, but sometimes we stay open a bit later if we know someone is coming from far away to see us. It is just a normal shop.
