Laalwalas Restaurants & Sweets

Our place is tucked into Chander Lok Enclave in Pitampura. If you know where the Chunmun Store is, we’re right near there at number 4. It’s a pretty lively area, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping. We do both the restaurant side and the sweets, so it’s always a bit chaotic. One minute we’re packing up boxes of barfi and the next we’re bringing out plates of food to a family at a corner table. It gets noisy, especially when the kids are around. We don’t have any fancy decor or anything like that. It’s just tables, chairs, and the smell of whatever is cooking in the back. Some days the floor gets a bit messy when it’s raining outside, but we try to keep up with it. People from around the enclave come in often, so it feels more like a neighborhood kitchen than a business sometimes. We’ve seen kids grow up coming here for a treat after school. It’s just a normal Delhi spot where you can get a quick bite or buy something sweet to take home. The kitchen is small but we manage. You’ll probably hear the staff shouting orders back and forth when it gets crowded. It’s just how it is here. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. Just food and sweets for whoever walks through the door in Pitampura. It’s been our daily life for years and we just keep the doors open.
