Cherish Banquet Hall

Our place is at C 94 on the Wazirpur Ring Road. If you know the Shalimar Bagh bus stop, you know where we are because it’s right nearby. The Ring Road is always packed with cars, so there is a lot of honking outside. The hall is a big space. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around and cleaning the floors. It’s a lot of work to keep a big room like this looking okay. We have some lights on the ceiling that we have to change every now and then. People use the space for all sorts of things, mostly local gatherings. It’s not a fancy hotel, just a solid hall where you can get people together. We have a small area for the kitchen staff to work. The entrance is right off the main road. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find the right turn, so we tell them to look for the bus stop. The walls are painted a neutral color. We don't have many decorations unless someone brings their own. It gets a bit cold in the winter because the hall is so large. We just make sure the gates are open on time. It’s a lot of sweeping. You’d be surprised how much dust comes in from the Ring Road. We just keep at it and make sure the place is ready for whoever booked it next.
