Balaji Kitchen King

You can find Balaji Kitchen King over at Shahzada Bagh, number 31. It’s a bit of an older neighborhood and we fit right in. We deal with kitchen stuff, mostly things that people need for their homes every day. The shop is filled with all sorts of items, from stoves to small utensils. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. I’ve been working at this address for years and I know the layout of the place like the back of my hand. People come in looking for parts or new setups and we just show them what we have. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a working shop where things might be a little dusty on the bottom shelves. That’s just how it is. We start the day by sweeping the front and getting things ready for the first customers. Shahzada Bagh is a place with a lot of history and we are just one small part of it. We don’t use any big words or try to sell people things they don't need. If they ask for something, we find it for them. It’s a very direct way of doing business. No complications. The building at 31 has been here for a long time and so have we. It’s a steady life and we appreciate the regulars who have been coming to us for years and years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It's honest and we're okay with that.
