This is Babu Bikaneri Namkeen Bhandar located in the CD Market area of Pitampura. Specifically, we are at CD234. If you walk through the market, you will find us. We have a lot of different snacks in the shop. Most of my day is spent weighing out namkeen for people who live nearby. Pitampura is a crowded place and the CD Market gets especially busy in the evenings. I’ve been running this shop for a good while. I try to keep the jars full and the counters clean. It’s just a regular local shop. There is no corporate office or big team behind us. It is just me and the help I have here at CD234. Some people come in for just a small packet, others buy in bulk for weddings or parties. I’ve seen kids grow up coming here. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we get new stock in, but we sort it out. I like being in Pitampura because the people are friendly. They know me by name. I don't use any fancy marketing tricks. I just open the shutters in the morning and close them at night. The noise of the market is something I don’t even hear anymore. It’s just part of the day at Babu Bikaneri Namkeen Bhandar. We are just a small part of the CD Market community. I taste the food myself. We just keep on working.
