Shama Beauty Saloon

You can find Shama Beauty Saloon over at D-53 on the Main Road in Brahampuri. We’re tucked into the New Seelampur area, right near Chauhan Bangar. Delhi gets pretty crowded, and our street is no different. It’s always noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the hair and skin work. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy most days to get to it. People from around the block stop in for a quick trim or to get ready for a family wedding. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. We know most of our customers by their first names. It isn’t some high-end place with fancy coffee; we just offer a chair and a mirror. If the power goes out, we have a small backup, but mostly we just hope for the best. Living and working in Seelampur means you meet all kinds of people. My aunt used to work here too before she moved. We keep the towels clean and the scissors sharp. It's a straightforward business. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick for us. If you're near the main road, just look for the door at D-53. We’re usually open until late evening unless there’s a big holiday. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do for a living.
