Nitu Beauty Parlour

I run Nitu Beauty Parlour at Nandnagri B 5/6. It is a small space dedicated to helping women with their basic beauty needs. I started this in my local area because there weren't many places nearby that were affordable and simple. We do things like threading, waxing, hair coloring, and basic facials. The shop is decorated simply with some posters and a couple of comfortable chairs. It is not a high-end salon like you find in the city center. It’s a neighborhood place. Most of my clients are women who live in the same block or just a few streets away. They come in to get ready for a wedding or just for their regular grooming. I handle most of the work myself, though sometimes my cousin helps out when it gets busy during the festive season. We talk a lot while I work on their hair or skin. It’s a friendly atmosphere where everyone knows each other’s families. I keep my tools clean and try to make the space as nice as possible on a small budget. Sometimes the supply of water is an issue in this block, but we manage. I don't use expensive imported products, just regular stuff that works well. It’s a lot of standing on my feet all day, but I like being my own boss. People come here because it’s convenient and they know what to expect.
