Pundit Tools & Abrasives Corp

If you drive down Shahdara Loni Road, you’ll see our place at 627/6. Pundit Tools & Abrasives Corp has been sitting on this busy stretch of road for quite a while. The traffic outside is constant, and you can always hear the horns honking. Inside, it’s a bit quieter but filled with the smell of grinding wheels and sandpaper. We have shelves and shelves of different tools. It’s mostly stuff for people who do hard manual work. We don't really have a showroom; it's more like a big storage room where we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks messy to someone else. I took over from my father about five years ago. He still comes in sometimes to sit in the back and tell us we’re doing things wrong. It’s a family thing, I guess. We deal with a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They don't need a fancy sales pitch; they just need a tool that won't break on the first day. We spend a lot of time loading boxes onto rickshaws or small vans that pull up out front. The summers are really hot here because the sun hits the front of the building all afternoon. We just keep the fans going and keep moving. It’s nothing special, just a regular shop selling what people need to get their work done. We stay open until the sun goes down.
