Janak Infotech

Janak Infotech is based in Yamuna Vihar, at C 7/139. This is a residential area so things are a bit quieter here than in the big markets, but there’s always someone with a computer problem. Our shop is part of the street where people walk their dogs or go to the grocery store. We have a couple of benches inside where we keep the CPUs and monitors that need looking at. It’s often a bit messy with cables running across the floor and parts scattered on the worktable. We don't go for the high-tech look. It’s just a place with a few bright lights and the sound of cooling fans running all the time. People bring in their laptops when they won't start or when they need some software installed for their kids' schoolwork. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and typing away. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there's always another job to finish. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when the weather is nice just to get away from the hum of the machines. It’s a steady pace of work and we like being part of the community here. We know the people on our block and they know they can just knock if the shutter is half-down and we will probably be inside working.
