Hans Packers

Our little spot is at 7/42 in Yudhisthir Gali, right in the middle of Vishwas Nagar. If you know Shahdara, you know how busy these narrow streets can get. Hans Packers is basically just a few of us surrounded by mountains of cardboard boxes and rolls of brown tape. Every morning starts with the same sound of tape being pulled and boxes being folded. It’s hard work on the back, lifting and moving things all day, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just know how to pack things so they don't break. Sometimes the alley gets blocked with a truck, and we have to wait it out, chatting with the neighbors. It’s a very local way of doing business. We see the same faces every day. The office part of the shop is small and mostly filled with ledgers and old pens. We don’t really go for the polished look because our work is dusty and involves a lot of heavy lifting. Shahdara has a way of keeping you busy, and there’s always something that needs to be moved or wrapped. We’ve been in this gali for a while, and the people around here know us as the guys who are always covered in dust from the packing materials. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders one by one.
