Abdul Wahid Zari House

Abdul Wahid Zari House is situated at D129 in New Seelampur. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now and it feels like home to us. New Seelampur is a place where everyone is busy doing something, and our street is no different. The building at D129 is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a practical space, filled with the tools of our trade and rolls of materials. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone sitting at a front desk to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find us working in the back or middle of the shop. The neighborhood is tight-knit, so we know most of our neighbors by name. It can get a bit crowded on the streets around here, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work at hand. We don't use any big corporate language because that’s not who we are. We are just a local Zari house trying to do things the right way. Some days are long and the work can be tiring, but we are used to it. New Seelampur has a lot of energy and we like being part of that. We keep our setup simple and don't worry too much about having the latest decorations or modern furniture. As long as we have enough light to work by, we are satisfied with how things are going each day. It’s just us.
