Election Office

The election office is situated at House Number A517/1 on Street Number 1. We are in the 4th Pusta area of Kartar Nagar, which falls under New Usmanpur in Delhi. The pincode is 110053. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially when things are ramping up for any kind of local voting. Our office is basically a house that has been turned into a hub for all the paperwork and planning that goes into the election process. If you walk down Street 1, you’ll see people coming and going at all hours. We have stacks of forms and lists piled high on the tables. It’s not the most organized-looking place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is. The fans hum constantly to keep the heat away while we go through names and addresses. There’s always a bit of a crowd near the entrance with people asking questions or looking for their cards. We don't have a lot of space, so things can feel a bit cramped when the whole team is in. It’s a very local operation, right in the middle of the community we serve. We don't do any self-promotion because our job is just to get the administrative work done for the public. It’s a lot of long hours and drinking strong tea to stay focused, but that is just how it is in New Usmanpur.
