Weldng Aids

Our shop is at 4033 Ajmeri Gate. It’s right in the thick of things, where the streets are narrow and there’s always someone shouting or a horn honking. We’ve been selling welding equipment and all the little accessories that go with it for a long time. The place is pretty small, and we have boxes of welding rods and stacks of helmets piled up everywhere. You have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip over a machine. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, which is just part of the trade. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving the stock around, and the rest of the staff is the same. We don’t use any fancy computers to track our inventory; we just know what we have by looking at the shelves. Our customers are mostly local guys who have been coming to us for years. They know we don’t have a polished showroom. They just want stuff that works for their jobs. We spend our days talking to welders and helping them find the right gear. It gets very hot in here during the summer months, but we have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving. We aren’t looking to expand into some big chain. We like being here at Ajmeri Gate, right where our customers are. It’s a busy, messy, and good way to spend the day. Sometimes we have to deal with the rain coming in through the front door, but we just keep going.
