Vogue Fashions is right in the heart of the action in Chandni Chowk. Our place is at 5187, 1St Floor, Ballimaran, Chandni Chowk,. If you know Ballimaran, you know it’s famous for shoes and all sorts of things, so it’s always packed. Getting up to the 1st floor can be a bit of a squeeze when the stairs are busy. The office itself is one big room where we do everything. We’ve got samples and papers scattered around. It’s not very organized, but we know where everything is. Since we are in such an old building, the ceilings are high but the windows are small. It stays relatively cool, which is good during the summer. We hear the shouts of the rickshaw pullers and the general buzz of the market all day long. Vogue Fashions is just a few of us working together. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person to tell our story. We just talk to our customers and do the orders as they come in. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big project, and other times we leave a bit early if it’s quiet. It’s a very human way to run a business. We like being in Chandni Chowk because everything we need is just a short walk away. 5187 is our little corner of the world, and we've grown attached to it. It’s not glamorous, but it is real and it is ours. That's all we need at the end of the day.
