Venus Diamond Dies Works

Venus Diamond Dies Works has been operating out of 1913 Turkman Gate for quite a long time. If you know this part of the city, you know it is full of history and very narrow streets. Our workshop is tucked away here and it’s where we do all our work on diamond dies. These are small tools but they require a lot of careful attention. The machines we use are old but they still get the job done right. It can be quite loud when everything is running at once. The lighting isn't always the best, so we use desk lamps to see the fine details of the dies. We don’t have a fancy storefront or any marketing materials. Most of the people we work with have known us for decades. The neighborhood is always noisy with vendors and traffic, which becomes part of the background after you’ve been here a few years. There are only a few of us working here, and we’ve all learned the trade from those who came before us. It’s a bit of a dusty place with metal shavings and tools everywhere, but it’s our space. We don't pretend to be anything more than a small workshop doing specialized work. Each day is pretty much the same, focusing on the precision of the tools we make.
