K.C. Mittal & Co.

We are located at 804 Kashmere Gate in the Chhota Bzr area. If you know Delhi, you know how busy Kashmere Gate can get. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets are always packed with people, rickshaws, and all sorts of noise. Our office at K.C. Mittal & Co. is right in the middle of all that history and chaos. The building is older, and it has that specific smell of old paper and dust that you only find in these parts of town. Chhota Bzr has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. It’s not like those shiny new offices in the suburbs. Here, everything is a bit more cramped and a bit more personal. We know the neighbors and the tea sellers nearby. The workday starts with the sound of the bazaar waking up, and it doesn't really quiet down until late. We spend our hours going through records and handling the daily business that comes our way. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on top of things. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the heat gets to be a bit much in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. It’s a straightforward life here. We don't have any big slogans or mission statements, just a desk and a chair and a lot of work to do. We usually wrap things up when the bazaar starts to thin out, which is never really early in this neighborhood.
