Manjit Traders

Manjit Traders is located in room 8/53 of the Fazal Building, right by the Ajmeri Gate in Delhi. If you’ve ever walked through that area, you know how crowded and busy the streets are. Our building is quite old and the stairs are very narrow and steep. We have a small space where we keep all our stock. It is often piled high toward the ceiling because there isn't much room to spare. We have a couple of old desks and some ledgers where we write everything down by hand. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, but it has worked for us for a long time. The noise from the traffic and the people outside never stops. You can hear horns and shouting all day long. We start our work very early in the morning when the goods start arriving at the gate. It is a tight-knit community of traders in the Fazal Building, and we all know each other. Sometimes it gets incredibly hot in the office, but we just keep the small fan going and carry on. We don't have any marketing materials or a fancy logo. People just know us because we’ve been here for so many years. It is a bit chaotic at times, but that is just the nature of working in this part of Delhi. We just focus on our daily trade and managing the stock. There is always a lot of work to be finished before the day ends.
