Ushanki Exports

Ushanki Exports is located at 441, Ishwar Bhawan, right in the heart of Khari Baoli. If you’ve ever been to Khari Baoli, you know it’s famous for being a massive spice market. The air is always thick with the smell of chilies, turmeric, and all sorts of other spices. It makes you sneeze sometimes when you first arrive in the morning. Our office is inside Ishwar Bhawan, which is an old building with a lot of character. The hallways are narrow and the walls show their age, but it’s a solid place. We spend our days managing exports, which involves a lot of coordination and checking on shipments. It’s a very busy area, and the streets are often blocked by carts and laborers carrying heavy sacks. We’ve been here for years, and we’re used to the chaos and the noise. Inside our space, things are a bit calmer, though we are usually busy on the phone or typing away. We don’t have a lot of modern furniture; most of it is stuff we’ve had since we started. We share the building with several other businesses, so there’s always someone to chat with in the hallways. It’s a community of traders and exporters, all doing their own thing. We have our tea delivered in small glass cups from the local stall. It’s a traditional way of working, and we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but Khari Baoli.
