We are right on the Main Road in Chandni Chowk, at Building Number 862. If you know Delhi, you know how busy Chandni Chowk is. We are situated right opposite the Allahabad Bank. This area is full of history and, honestly, a lot of chaos. Tewari Brothers Confectioners has been around for quite some time. We are at 110006. Our days start very early, long before the crowds arrive. We have to get the sweets and snacks ready. There is a lot of milk boiling, sugar stirring, and frying going on in the back. It’s a tradition for us. We don't use fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand because that’s the way we learned. The shop is often crowded, and it can get a bit loud with everyone talking at once. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else; we are right here on the shop floor. Sometimes we make mistakes, or a batch doesn't turn out quite right, but we always try to fix it. People from all over Delhi come to this street. We see tourists and locals alike. It’s a lot of standing on our feet all day. We don't put out big ads. People know where we are. We just keep making our sweets and serving them to whoever comes through the door. It is what it is—hard work and sugar.
