Bake Berry Food Industries

Our unit is C-172 in Sector 5 of the Dsidc Bawana area. Bawana is quite a trip from the main city, and the roads can be pretty rough depending on the season. Bake Berry Food Industries is basically a big shed where we do all our baking and processing. It’s hot in there most of the time because of the ovens, so we keep the big shutters open to get some air moving. The floor is concrete and usually has a fine dusting of flour on it by the afternoon. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything for visitors. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our aprons, probably moving trays or checking the timers. We started out small and we’ve stayed that way, mostly because we like knowing exactly what’s going into every batch. Sector 5 is a loud place with all the other factories around, but you get used to the noise after a while. We have a small area partitioned off for the paperwork, but it’s mostly just a desk and a computer that’s seen better days. We don't spend much time on the computer though, as there's always something in the kitchen that needs attention. It's a lot of standing and lifting, and by the time we lock up at night, we’re all pretty tired. It’s just the way things go when you’re running a food business in Bawana.
