Ram Niwas Jai Bhagwan

Our shop is located at 43/10/3 on Arya Samaj Road in Narela. This is a part of town where everyone knows everyone, especially if you've been around as long as we have. Ram Niwas Jai Bhagwan has been a name in this area for years. We deal mostly in bulk goods, and our space is often filled with the smell of grain and jute bags. There are no fancy decorations here, just solid wooden counters and heavy scales for weighing things out. We spend our mornings talking to suppliers and our afternoons dealing with the logistics of moving stock. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a traditional way of doing business where a person’s word still means something. We have old registers where we write everything down by hand, though we have a computer now too for the official stuff. The heat in the summer can be tough since we don't have much more than a couple of ceiling fans, but we just keep the cold water jug full and carry on. It’s hard work and your clothes get dusty by the end of the shift, but it feels good to be part of the long history of traders on this road. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand until closing time.
