You can find Tera Hi Tera Foods over at Azad Market on Library Road, shop number 10145. It's a crowded area, but it's where we work every single day. We deal with bulk food items, mostly grains and spices that come in big heavy sacks. The air always smells like cumin or chili depending on what we’re moving that morning. It’s a lot of lifting and shifting bags around. We’ve got a small crew here, and we all pitch in with the loading and unloading. Sometimes the traffic on Library Road makes it hard for the trucks to get close, so we end up carrying things further than we’d like. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's just a warehouse-style setup where the stacks go all the way to the ceiling. We keep track of everything in a thick register because the computer sometimes acts up when it gets too hot. People from all over the market come to us for their supplies. We try to keep things moving fast so nobody is waiting too long in the heat. It’s a bit chaotic, especially on Mondays, but we like the pace of it. We just focus on getting the right kind of food items out to the shops that buy from us. It’s basic, honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. There's always tea brewing in the corner for whoever stops by to talk business or just rest.
