Our place is at 4239 in Gali Jatan. It’s right in the middle of the Pahari Dhiraj area of Sadar Bazar. It is a very crowded place, honestly. Every morning, we come in and open up the shop. We’ve got the Talwar & Sons Appliances name on the paperwork now, which sounds a bit official because of the Pvt Ltd part, but it’s still just us. The street, Gali Jatan, is always packed with people looking for things. We spend a lot of time moving appliances around and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It’s hard work, and the space isn't huge, so we have to be careful with how we stack things. My sons are here most days, helping with the heavy lifting and talking to the folks who come in. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just rely on being here every day at the same address. Sometimes the traffic in Sadar Bazar makes it hard for deliveries, but we manage somehow. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but 4239 stays pretty much the same. It’s a lot of noise and a lot of heat in the summer, but it’s where we do our business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy showroom or shiny advertisements. We just want to get the work done and go home to our families at night when the market finally quietens down.
