Azad Market is always a bit of a maze, and we are right in the thick of it on Library Road. Our shop is 10227-A. It’s one of those places where you have to watch your step because of the crowds. We deal with gift items, the kind of things people need for functions or just to give to someone. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just selling gifts. The shelves are usually pretty full because we try to keep a variety. It gets dusty sometimes with all the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most people find us through word of mouth or they just stumble upon us while walking down the road. We don't spend money on big ads. We’d rather just talk to the customers who come through the door. The space is a bit tight, especially when a new shipment arrives and there are boxes everywhere. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes. We’ve been here for a good bit now and we know most of the other shopkeepers around. It’s a community feel even if it’s loud and busy. If you’re looking for a specific kind of gift, we probably have something that fits, but you have to come and look through the stock yourself. It's better than looking at pictures on a screen.
