T.S. Impex

If you’ve ever walked through Khari Baoli, you know how intense it is with all the spices and the people everywhere. T.S. Impex is tucked into Gadodia Market at number 15. It’s a tight space, but we make it work somehow. The air always smells like a mix of everything, which can be a bit much if you aren't used to it. We deal with various imported goods and some local stuff too. The stacks of bags go all the way to the ceiling sometimes, and we have to be careful how we move things around so nothing falls. It’s a lot of counting and re-counting. We don't have time for fancy decorations or anything. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the orders to worry about that. Customers come and go all day, mostly looking for specific grades of products. We try to be helpful, even when it’s chaotic. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the sacks, and the floor is never really clean for long. That's just the nature of being in Gadodia Market. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shopkeepers around. We share tea and complain about the traffic sometimes. It’s a tough environment, but it feels like home now. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders out on time. Anyway, that's what we do here in Khari Baoli.
