Sunstar Overseas

Sunstar Overseas is located at 24-B Alipur Road in the Civil Lines area. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history and big trees along the streets. We work out of an office here, focusing on overseas trade and shipping. It’s a lot of coordination between different parties and making sure the timing is right. The building is a bit older, but it has high ceilings and stays relatively cool in the summer. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people in different time zones. It can get a bit confusing with the hours, but we manage. There are about five of us here most days. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee and take our lunches together. We don't really have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one by the door. Most people find us through contacts in the industry. Civil Lines is a nice place to be based because it’s a bit calmer than the main market areas. We handle a variety of products for export, and there’s always something new to figure out with the regulations. It’s a steady business and we just focus on doing our daily tasks without much fuss. We try to keep the paperwork organized so nothing gets lost in the shuffle when we get busy.
