If you walk down the Main Road in Malka Ganj, you’ll see our shop at A-40. Sunshine Kitchen Appliances has been a part of this street for a long time. It’s always a bit chaotic inside because we have stoves, mixers, and all sorts of kitchen gear stacked up from floor to ceiling. People come in with broken handles or kettles that won't turn on, and we do what we can to fix them up right there on the counter. The front door is usually propped open, so we hear all the honking and shouting from the street all day long. It’s a dusty job, especially when we’re cleaning out old parts or unboxing new stock that just arrived from the warehouse. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Delhi, just a reliable place where you can get a decent pressure cooker or a spare part without a lot of fuss. Our staff consists of a few guys who have been with us since the beginning. We know which brands last and which ones are just for show. There is no polished showroom feel here; it’s more like a workshop where things actually get done. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the neighbors while we work. It’s a simple business, and we like it that way. We don't use fancy scripts when people call; we just tell them what we have in stock and how much it costs. We aren't looking to expand into some massive chain, we just want to keep the shop running.
