Spg Flour Mills Private Limited is right in the heart of Chandni Chowk at 1167, Second Floor, Kucha Mahajani. If you have ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how incredibly crowded and loud it is at all hours of the day. Kucha Mahajani is famous for many things, and we are just one of the many businesses operating in these old buildings. Being on the second floor means we have to carry everything up and down the narrow staircases, which is basically our daily workout. We work with flour, so there is always a fine white dust over everything in the office no matter how much we clean. It’s just part of the job. The building is quite old and has a lot of character, though the wiring can be a bit messy. We have been here for a while and have seen the market change quite a bit. It’s a very traditional way of doing business in this part of Delhi. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be very careful about where we put things. It’s a loud, dusty, and busy environment, but it’s where we feel at home. We just keep our heads down and focus on milling and moving our products through the narrow lanes. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or use the emergency lights to finish up the paperwork for the day.
