We are located at 9772 Neemwali Street in the Azad Market area of Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know the streets are so narrow that two people can barely walk side by side. Our building is right in the middle of that mess. At Soya Shakti Power Foods, we deal with a lot of heavy sacks of soy and other grains. The ground floor is usually piled high with stock, and there’s always a truck trying to squeeze through the lane to drop off more. It’s dusty and noisy, and the heat in Nawabganji can be pretty intense during the summer months. We have a small office upstairs where we keep the ledgers and a couple of old computers. We don't have a fancy showroom or a reception desk. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us counting bags or talking to the delivery drivers. The walls are painted a dull cream color and they’re covered in stacks of paperwork. We’ve been operating out of this same spot for years, and we know all the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s not a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just focus on getting the food products out to the vendors who need them. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do here in the market.
