You can find us up on the second floor of the Shri Bankey Bihari Market. The address says 553/554 Naya Bazar but everyone just knows this part of Lahori Gate as being incredibly busy all the time. Getting through the crowd can be a bit of a struggle especially in the mornings when the trucks are unloading. We’ve been at number 41 for a long time. It’s an old building and the stairs are a bit narrow but it works for us. Shree Ganesh Enterprises is basically just a small team working among piles of stock. We don’t have much room for a proper office so we just make do with what we have. Most days are spent talking to traders or checking the quality of what’s coming in. It’s a noisy place with people shouting and carts rattling by but that’s just Naya Bazar for you. We don’t really do anything fancy here. We just buy and sell and try to keep the books straight. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit but we just carry on. It’s a honest way to make a living and we’ve been part of this market community for years. If you come by you’ll probably see us drinking tea and going over the ledgers. It’s just the way things are done around here and we don’t see any reason to change it. Our neighbors in the market are mostly friendly and we often share news over tea.
