Our place is at 401 Khari Baoli Main Road, right across from Gadodia Market. If you know this area, you know how hectic it gets with all the trucks and people carrying sacks. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time. It's an old building, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for what we do. Shanti Lal and Amit Kumar started this up, and we just keep it going every day. The air around here always smells like spices and dust because of where we are located. We mostly deal with the day-to-day trade stuff that happens in this part of Delhi. It’s not a quiet job. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in from the main road. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some old furniture and a lot of ledger books and papers. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall nearby while we wait for deliveries. We don't really do much advertising or anything. Most of the people who come to us have been doing business in Khari Baoli for years. It’s just the way things are done here. We open early when the market starts waking up and stay until things finally quiet down in the evening. It’s a lot of work, but we are used to the rhythm of the street by now.
