Sahu Jee Sons is located at 6105 in Gali Batashan, right in the heart of Khari Baoli. If you’ve ever been to Khari Baoli, you know it’s a place like no other. The lanes are narrow, the air is thick with the scent of spices, and it’s always crowded. Gali Batashan is just one of those many small streets where business has been done for generations. Our shop at 6105 is tucked in among many others. It’s not a big space, but it’s packed with history and goods. We’ve been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but that’s part of the charm. Dealing with the daily chaos of Khari Baoli is just something we are used to. You have to watch out for the carts and the people pushing through the narrow gaps. It’s a loud, energetic place to work. We spend our days talking to people and moving stock in and out. There isn't much room for an office, so most of the business happens right there on the floor. It’s an honest way to work. We know our neighbors and the other traders in the Gali. It feels like we are part of something much older than ourselves. We don't need fancy signs or marketing. People find us because we’ve always been here. It’s just how things work in this part of the city for us.
