If you want to find Royal Equipment Company, you have to head into the heart of Sadar Bazar. We are at 5917, on the first floor in Basti Harpool Singh. It’s a chaotic area, with narrow lanes and people pushing carts everywhere you look. Getting to the first floor can be a bit of a squeeze when we are moving equipment up and down the stairs. The shop itself is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of items. We don't have much room for a desk, so we usually just stand around and talk to whoever comes in. It is loud and fast-paced, which is just the way Sadar Bazar is. We don't spend money on fancy displays or lighting. We know where every single piece of equipment is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. The phone rings all day long, and there’s always someone at the door asking about prices or stock. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business inside out. Lunch is usually eaten quickly between customers. It’s a tiring place to work, but there is always something happening. We’ve been in this spot for years and don't see ourselves moving any time soon. It’s just how we do business here in the market, amidst the noise and the crowds of people every day.
