Rishi International

Rishi International is tucked away over in Malka Ganj, specifically at B-1/45. It’s a busy neighborhood, and our office reflects that most of the time. We’ve got boxes stacked in corners. The phone seems to ring right when you sit down for a break. Being in an area like Malka Ganj means there’s always something happening outside the window, from street vendors to students walking by. We handle a lot of different things here. It’s mostly about getting goods moved from one place to another. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit every day. Most of us just show up in whatever is comfortable because there’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around. We’ve had the same small team for a few years now. We pretty much finish each other’s sentences when it comes to shipping schedules. There’s a tea stall just down the road that we visit way too often when the afternoon slump hits. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come to see us, you’ll probably have to step over a few crates to find a chair. It’s just a local spot where we put in our hours and try to keep the shipments on track. Some days are slower than others, which is nice. It gives us time to catch up on the bookkeeping and clean up the desk before the next big rush comes in.
