Ratantrey International

Ratantrey International is situated right in the middle of everything at 83/3, Chawri Bazar. If you’ve ever been down these streets, you know how packed and energetic it is. It’s a historic part of the city and we’ve been part of the landscape here for some time. Our space isn't huge, but we make the most of it. There is always a lot of movement outside our door with carts and people moving back and forth all day long. It’s the kind of place where you have to speak up to be heard over the noise of the market. We deal with all sorts of people coming through. Some are looking for specific items and others are just checking prices. We don't use any complicated systems; we just keep track of things the old-fashioned way. It’s a lot of work keeping things organized in such a busy area, but we manage. The building has seen a lot of years, and it has that specific feel of Chawri Bazar that you can't find anywhere else. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation. We’re just a bunch of people working hard in a famous market. Every day brings something different, and that’s why we like it here. It’s crowded, it’s loud, and it’s where we do our business every single day without fail. We just take things as they come and try to keep our customers satisfied with what we have.
