Plater Zone

We’re located at 10233 Library Road, which is right in the middle of the chaos that is Azad Market. If you’ve ever been here, you know how busy it gets. We deal with plates and various types of kitchenware. The shop is packed floor to ceiling with boxes. Sometimes it's hard to move around without bumping into something. We’ve been on Library Road for years. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We don't have a fancy display window. Most people come to us because they know we have what they need in stock. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and checking for cracks or chips. It’s a lot of manual labor. The market is noisy from early morning, and we’re usually here before the sun is fully up to beat the traffic. We aren't trying to sell you a lifestyle. We just sell plates and containers. If you need a hundred of something, we probably have it in the back or can get it. It’s dusty work and our hands are always dry from handling cardboard. We take a break for chai when the crowd thins out a bit. It’s a rough and tumble way to make a living, but it suits us. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just show you what we have and tell you the price. Most of our customers are regulars who don't need much talk anyway.
