If you are looking for D. K. Sons, you have to head over to Bhagirath Palace. We are at No. 2098/114 on the first floor. It is right in Chah Indara, just behind the old Jublee Cinema. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting through the lanes, especially with all the rickshaws and people moving goods. Our shop is near the Karumariyamman Temple Street side. It’s a busy spot, always noisy with the sounds of the market. We have been here for a long time. The office is packed with ledgers and samples of things we sell. There isn't much room to walk around because we have boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It might look a bit messy to someone coming in for the first time, but we know exactly where everything is stored. My brother and I run the place now. We usually open up around ten and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. We deal with a lot of regular customers who have been buying from us since my father’s time. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lists and making sure the orders are right. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. Most of our business happens over the counter or over a quick phone call. It’s a traditional way of doing things, but it works for us and the people we serve.
