M/S Vinod Kumar

Working out of Azadpur in Delhi is always an experience because of how crowded it gets. Our place, M/S Vinod Kumar, is located at J-523 in Gopal Nagar. It’s a small space, but we’ve made it work for a long time. Azadpur is famous for being a big hub, so there’s always something moving around us. We handle a variety of trade and supply work, mostly just keeping things moving from one place to another. The air is always dusty and the noise from the trucks outside never really stops. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and you’ll see us at our desks or sorting through some stock. It gets very cold here in the winters, so we usually have a small heater going while we work. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing because people mostly find us by word of mouth anyway. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we have a few helpers. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our chai. It’s just a basic Delhi business. We deal with the electricity cuts and the narrow streets every day. It’s not perfect, and the office is a bit cluttered with old ledgers, but we know where everything is. We just keep going, trying to get the day's tasks done.
