P.K.Trading Co. is tucked away at 1756 Nai Basti in the Naya Bazar area, which is one of the more crowded spots you will find around here. Getting a vehicle through these narrow lanes is always a bit of a challenge, especially in the afternoons when the market is in full swing. Our space is part of an older building that has seen a lot of years. The walls inside are painted a light color that has faded over time, and the wooden stairs creak every time someone walks up. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time, and we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. Usually, the day starts early because the heat gets quite bad later on, and we want to get the heavy lifting done while it is still a bit cool. There are always stacks of goods near the entrance, and we have to be careful not to trip over them when we are moving around. It is not a very quiet place to work because of the constant noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a few old desks and some metal cupboards where we keep everything. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, so we just sit by the doorway to catch the breeze. It is just a regular trading spot where we do our business without much fuss.
