You can find us at 21-A in Gadodia Market, right in the heart of Khari Baoli. If you have ever been to this market, you know how crowded and busy it gets. There is always the smell of spices in the air and people carrying heavy sacks on their shoulders. Our shop is quite old and a bit cramped. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, filled with all sorts of things. It’s hard for two people to pass each other in the aisle sometimes. We’ve been part of this market for a long time. Every morning, we unlock the big heavy doors and start setting things up. The noise from the carts and the shouting outside is constant, but we don't even notice it anymore. We don't have a computer for everything; we still use a lot of paper notebooks to keep track of sales. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. Customers come in and out all day long. Some we have known for twenty years or more. We sit on small stools and talk about the prices and the weather. It’s not a polished business by any means. There’s dust and noise and plenty of work to do. We just stay focused on our daily tasks and try to keep our regulars happy. It is just how life is here in the market.
