Nice Confectionery

Our factory is located at E-28 in the S.M.A. Co-operative Industrial Estate, right off G.T. Karnal Road. It’s an industrial area, so it’s full of trucks and other businesses. We spend our days making different kinds of confectionery and sweets. The air usually smells like sugar and whatever we are cooking that day. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and watching the machines to make sure everything is coming out right. We don't have a fancy storefront here; it’s strictly a production place. The floors are hard, and it gets loud when all the equipment is running at once. We’ve got a group of workers who have been with us for a long time, and we just get on with the tasks. G.T. Karnal Road is always packed with traffic, so getting our supplies in and our products out takes some careful planning. We don't do much in the way of advertising or marketing. We just make the sweets and sell them to the wholesalers who come to pick them up in their vans. It’s a basic operation. We keep the place clean and focus on the recipes we have used for years. Some days are long, especially when we have big orders to finish before the weekend starts. It’s just regular work in a busy part of the city. We don't pretend it is anything fancy, just a confectionery plant.
