Mariya Kitchen Equipments

Our place, Mariya Kitchen Equipments, is located at 1209 Churi Walan, which is right near Chawri Bazar. If you’ve ever walked through those streets, you know how tight and busy it gets with all the carts and people moving stuff back and forth. Our shop is filled with all sorts of metal things for kitchens, from big burners to heavy pots and pans. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for whoever walks in. The air usually smells like metal and the street food from the vendors nearby. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything. It’s more of a warehouse feel where you have to move one thing to get to another. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a big delivery comes in and we have to stack crates near the entrance. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and everyone just kind of does their own thing in this part of town. The building itself is old, like most things around Chawri Bazar, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We spend our time answering questions about stove sizes or looking for specific parts in the back. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and moving heavy equipment around, but it keeps us busy. We just keep the doors open and see who comes through Churi Walan looking for gear. That is mostly how our days go here.
