Lalit Machinery Store

Lalit Machinery Store is located right at 64 & 65, Ajmeri Gate. If you’ve been to this part of the city, you know how incredibly busy and loud it can be. There are people everywhere and the sound of horns is constant. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen the area change, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We have shelves filled with all sorts of metal parts and machines. It’s a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, but we know where everything is. Our hands are usually a bit greasy from handling the equipment, and the floor is made of old concrete that's seen a lot of heavy lifting. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know to come to Ajmeri Gate when they need something fixed or a new machine part. We spend our day talking to mechanics and laborers who know exactly what they want. It’s a practical business. We don't waste time on small talk if we're busy, but we try to be helpful. Number 64 & 65 is just a place of work for us. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s where we belong. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in with a problem we can help solve. It's just simple metal and machine work.
