Kishan Chand Jagan Nath

Our shop Kishan Chand Jagan Nath is tucked away in Sardhanand Market over at G B Road 566. It is a very busy spot and sometimes it is hard to even walk through the lane because of all the crates and people moving stuff. We have been working out of this space for years now. The walls are a bit old and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it serves its purpose for us. We spend most of our morning checking what stock came in and what needs to go out to the regular buyers who come by. It is not a quiet place at all. You can hear the sounds of the main road and people shouting to get past each other. We have some wooden desks where we keep our books and do the accounts by hand. Most of the day is just spent talking to people who drop in or managing the piles of goods we have stacked up to the ceiling. It gets really warm in the summer months so we keep the doors wide open to get a bit of a breeze. We do not do much in the way of decoration. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the inventory is where it should be. It is a simple way of doing things and we have been doing it the same way for a long time now without much changing.
