K. S. Trading Co.

K. S. Trading Co. is right in the middle of the madness at 5179, Main Sadar Bazar. If you’ve never been to Sadar Bazar, it’s hard to explain how many people are there at any given time. Our shop is small and we have to stack things all the way to the ceiling to fit it all in. We spend most of the day dodging people in the aisles and trying to find specific items for customers who are usually in a hurry. It’s a lot of "excuse me" and "watch out" all day long. My brother and I run the place mostly, with a kid who helps out with deliveries on his cycle. We don't really have time for fancy systems, we just write everything down in our big registers. By the end of the day, our feet are usually killing us from standing on the concrete floor. The smell of the market is a mix of spices, diesel, and street food. It’s not for everyone, but we’ve been here for twenty years and we wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office. We just keep the stock moving and try to make sure we don't run out of the popular items. It’s a simple business, really, just buying and selling and trying to stay ahead of the crowd. We stay until the last customer leaves.
