Indo-Canadian Foods (P) Ltd. is located in Naya Bazar, which is one of the oldest and busiest grain markets in Delhi. Our address is 4083-B, and if you ever visit, you’ll see it’s a maze of narrow streets filled with sacks of pulses and rice. We trade in various food items and our office is right there in the thick of things. It’s a very traditional way of doing business where you know your neighbors and the loaders by name. The building is old, like most of Naya Bazar, and it has that distinct smell of spices and grains. We don't have air-conditioned lobbies or glass walls; it’s mostly wooden desks, heavy ledgers, and a lot of phone calls to suppliers. The traffic outside is constant, with rickshaws and carts blocking the way half the time. We handle a lot of logistics to get food products moved from one place to another. Our days start early when the market opens and usually end late when the final tally is done for the day. It’s a practical business built on years of being in the market. We focus on the quality of the food we handle and making sure the quantities are exactly what was ordered. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s essential, and we take pride in being part of this old trading community for so many years. We just keep our heads down and make sure the food supply chain keeps moving correctly.
