Our place, Icmc Corpn. Ltd., is right in the heart of the Ambattur Industrial Estate at number 36. If you’ve ever been to Ambattur, you know it’s a massive area filled with all kinds of factories. We fit right in with the rest of them. We do a lot of industrial work here. The floor is usually busy with people moving materials and operating the machinery. It can be quite a racket when all the machines are running at once. We started small and just stayed in this same spot as we got more work. The office is tucked away in one corner of the building so we can keep an eye on the production. We don't have any fancy signs or big displays. Most people who come here are suppliers or truck drivers picking up finished goods. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what we make because if something is off, it’s a big headache for everyone later. It’s a lot of routine. Clock in, check the machines, handle the orders, and clock out. We have a small tea stall just outside the gate where we all go for a break. It’s a tough environment but we like the honesty of making real things. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s been our life for a long time and we don't plan on changing much.
